POKERFORS Terms and Conditions
POKERFORS applies the following Terms and Conditions to ensure the fair and secure operation of tournament events held at the Paradise City Poker Room.
By registering for or participating in a tournament, all players are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
All players must follow the instructions of the tournament staff and officials at all times.
Registration and Identity Verification
Players must register for the event either on-site or through the online registration system. Online registration procedures follow the rules of each tournament organizer.
To participate in a tournament, players must provide personal information for tournament system registration and account creation. Such information may include, but is not limited to, name and nationality.
Players must promptly notify Pokerfors of any changes to their personal information. POKERFORS shall not be responsible for any issues arising from failure to report such changes.
Each player is permitted to have only one tournament account. Accounts, registration cards, and related privileges may not be transferred to another person.
POKERFORS reserves the right to request identity verification through government-issued identification or third-party verification services when deemed necessary.
POKERFORS may refuse participation or deactivate an account without prior notice in the following cases:
(a) Failure to complete identity verification
(b) Providing false or misleading information
(c) Any situation deemed problematic for security or operational reasons
The minimum age requirement to participate in tournaments is 19 years or older.
Entry may be restricted for public health reasons, including suspected symptoms of infectious diseases.
A Paradise City Casino membership card is required for event registration.
Privacy
By registering, players consent to the processing of personal information necessary for event operation and participation management.
POKERFORS may use personal information for the following purposes:
(a) Event operation and participant management
(b) Prize payment and settlement
(c) Fraud prevention and anti-money laundering compliance
(d) Responsible gaming policies
(e) Service provision and operational management
POKERFORS may share information with affiliates, service providers, or the hosting casino when necessary for service delivery.
Personal information may be disclosed without the player’s consent when legally required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
Personal information will be retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the intended purpose and will be deleted according to relevant policies once it is no longer required.
Players may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their own personal information. However, such requests may be restricted where legal retention obligations apply.
Media Rights
POKERFORS reserves the right to photograph, broadcast, webcast, record, or otherwise capture any part of the event.
Players agree that their likeness, voice, name, and related content may be used worldwide in any media format without time limitation.
Players may be required to participate at broadcast tables during televised or webcast events.
All media content produced during the event and related intellectual property rights belong to POKERFORS and/or the tournament organizer.
Players agree not to assert any moral rights related to media produced in connection with the event.
Players may not wear logos or messages that include:
(a) Gambling or betting brands prohibited by law
(b) Obscene, offensive, political, or discriminatory messages
(c) Content promoting violence, hatred, or prejudice
POKERFORS may request the removal of clothing or logos deemed to violate broadcast standards or applicable laws.
Photography, video production, streaming, vlogging, or similar content creation is permitted only with prior approval.
Approved media personnel must wear official media passes at all times and present them upon request by staff.
Filming outside designated tournament areas is not permitted and restrictions may apply across the entire Paradise City property.
For the protection of player privacy and game security, all photography and video recording are strictly prohibited in cash game areas.
Recording cash game tables, players, chips, or gameplay in any form is not permitted.
Photography or video recording of staff members, including dealers, is strictly prohibited in cash game areas.
Media personnel must not interfere with the duties of the Tournament Director, floor staff, or official filming crews.
When delayed broadcasts such as Cards-Up streams are in operation, all live reports and social media posts must comply with the same broadcast delay.
If an authorized representative of POKERFORS or the venue requests media personnel to leave a particular area, they must comply. Failure to do so may result in revocation of media credentials for the current and future events.
Table Rules
Spectators, outsiders, or media personnel who are not active players may not:
(a) Attempt to view a player’s hole cards
(b) Touch chips
(c) Sit in empty seats
(d) Comment on or judge table action
(e) Invade a player’s personal space
(f) Cheer or criticize when a pot is won
(g) Engage in any activity that may compromise game integrity
During a hand, communication, approach, or contact with spectators, outsiders, or media personnel is not permitted. Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of the tournament staff in situations such as when a player has folded or is all-in.
Players must not engage in any conduct that compromises the integrity of the tournament, including but not limited to:
(a) Chip or card manipulation
(b) Collusion
(c) Intentional sharing of information or manipulation of results
(d) Deliberate stalling
(e) Any conduct deemed to undermine tournament integrity
Players must follow the instructions of tournament staff regarding the use of electronic devices during gameplay.
The use of strategy analysis software, poker solvers, or similar tools during play is strictly prohibited.
Tournament staff may restrict or prohibit electronic device usage when deemed necessary.
At broadcast tables, final tables, or in certain situations, the use of mobile phones, calls, messaging, earphones, headphones, headsets, tablets, or other electronic devices may be restricted or prohibited.
Final table prize discussions (settlements) may only take place at the table under the supervision of tournament staff and the results may be disclosed.
Language rules follow the regulations of each tournament organizer.
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited inside the casino except in designated smoking areas.
Tournament Administration and Responsible Gaming Policy
All tournaments are conducted under the supervision of POKERFORS and the tournament operations team.
The Tournament Director and tournament staff have final authority over rule interpretation, dispute resolution, and operational decisions.
Tournament schedules, structures, formats, cancellations, or changes follow the regulations of each tournament organizer and may be adjusted when necessary by POKERFORS or the organizer.
Players must comply with responsible gaming principles and follow the entry policies and relevant regulations of the casino.
Players must comply with the casino’s terms of use and the rules of the hosting venue.
Code of Conduct and Security Policy
1. The following actions are strictly prohibited within the casino:
(a) Fraud or criminal activity
(b) Violent or threatening behavior
(c) Abusive, insulting, or discriminatory language
(d) Anti-social conduct
(e) Commercial solicitation or business activities
(f) Religious activities
(g) Recruiting players for other organizations
Players who violate the rules may be disqualified, and any prizes or buy-ins obtained prior to disqualification may be forfeited.
Violations may result in immediate removal from the event and revocation of eligibility to participate in all casino games.
POKERFORS reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any individual from the event for security, order maintenance, or operational reasons.
POKERFORS may restrict or permanently ban participation if there is reasonable suspicion of misconduct.
Prize Payments
Players who win prizes must present their casino membership card when claiming payouts.
A receipt containing tournament details and prize information will be issued upon payout.
This receipt does not serve as an official tax declaration document. If required, a tax document must be issued separately at the casino main cashier.
Players are responsible for all tax reporting and payment obligations related to their winnings.
Limitation of Liability
Players are responsible for safeguarding their own personal belongings and assets. POKERFORS is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
POKERFORS shall not be liable for disputes between players or damages resulting from personal conduct.
POKERFORS shall not be responsible for losses resulting from technical errors, system failures, or unexpected interruptions during tournament operations.
POKERFORS shall not be liable for delays or cancellations of events caused by force majeure events including but not limited to:
(a) Natural disasters
(b) Epidemics or pandemics
(c) Internet outages
(d) Power failures
(e) Labor strikes
Governing Rules and Interpretation
These Terms and Conditions serve as the standard rules applicable to all tournaments held at the Paradise City Poker Room.
Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall follow the regulations of the respective tournament organizer.
In cases where rule interpretation is required, the decision of the tournament staff shall be final.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
